The MOST basic thing about a STOCK is that PRICE DISCOVRY happens by DEMAND/SUPPLY (Bid/Ask). In a Communist country there is NO SUCH THING as "Free Market" - it does NOT EXIST because the GOVERNMENT is a SINGLE MONOPOLY. Basic Economics tells you that any MONOPOLISTIC effect KILLS demand/supply - for example a single supplier of anything can charge whatever they want if there is any demand for their product or service as they are the ONLY game in town! Also, an efficient market means resource allocation based on demand/supply - In a communist country the decisions on resource allocation are completely artificial - hence in communist Russia they would have people work in gun factories when they needed food and agricultural products. Hence you will have SHORTAGE of FOOD and GLUT of WEAPONS - both causing economic as well as political disruption. Anybody investing in Chinese stocks is by definition a trader and not an investor!

I believe Buffett, munger community is extremely useful for basic principles, character build up and mental temperament. Most people "Shitcoin" and fail to understand Bitcoin, just because of the lack of that mental make up. Personally, I am thankful for learning about them before going into Bitcoin.

Oh my gosh, Stig is still an unbeliever 😮. You should visit a third world country like mine and see how this is changing lives. For example, I was a big fan of Buffett's books and The Investor's Podcast, but there was no way I was ever going to be able to invest in US stocks for a variety of reasons. I just had a passion and love for it, without any real end game plan in mind. 1. Geopolitical issues prevent me from accessing any traditional markets due to the constant political turmoil in my country. 2. It would have required me to have a significant amount of money which I would never have been able to raise. 3. Gold is not allowed to be touched or traded in my country. Bitcoin, being a free and decentralized currency, has opened up huge opportunities for millions of people like me. Stig, you need to step out of the first world bubble and experience life in the third world for at least a year to truly understand the impact of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. There are millions of others like me who have been positively affected by this new form of currency without even planning for it. Use all your powers of intuition to think about this deeply. By the way, Stig is a very wonderful guy. He has a huge heart of gold 🥇, back in the days, he would always give his precious time and respond to our emails. Totally great person 💯
